Oh well wanted to make it harder on myself, only concern is hunting the skinny pieces of public in this darn unit.

Use your phone's mapping app. Use your GPS location, measure to the critter's location, bang.

Could be worse. I lost my brand new Leupold on the mountain I was hunting a few weeks ago. That holster is crap. Oh well. I will now use a cheap amazon one for $90. Works great but doesn’t have a red output screen like the Leupold.

Can tether gps and range finder to an Alaskan Guide Creations bino holder. Just got mine so will know how well works in 3 weeks. So far, fits great.

I have an AGC and I tether my GPS to the right pocket, kestrel in the left pocket, range finder in front pocket, and Inreach mini in bottom pocket. It works well.

Go old school and get close enough the rangefinder doesn't matter.

Forgetting gear sucks though.
