Turkey counties

Hi everyone,

Been on this site for some time now. This is my second yr trying to tag a turkey. Was wondering if anyone could tell me which counties have good flocks of turkeys. I hunted glendive last yr and no birds in the two spots I hunted. I'm really just trying to kill one Montana bird before I go back east. Thanks in advance.

Red Lodge has them all over in and around town, Rock Creek holds a pile when heading to Cooney. Hit up farms along the Yellowstone, they can't get enough of those cottonwoods. Anything west of park county, Livingston?, is specially permit.

I've noticed numbers were down a little bit the last few years but there are still plenty of birds to be had in eastern Montana.
