Saw my first Tule elk this weekend. I think this guys going to be a stud come August.

I used to see a small herd in my neighbors field in Roy just before I moved. It's nice to see a mature bull with the herd. All I ever saw was spike bulls and cows. Still always a sight to see over on the west side.

Grizzly Island Wildlife Area. I was surprised to see him with a cow and surprised she did not have a calf.

I’m out weekly scouting, I haven’t seen any calf’s yet as well , they might not hav dropped yet

I see Tule Elk in San Jose city limits!
Also at Fort Hunter Liggett while pig hunting.
Here is one that I bumped at about 4 yards....
