Trout!

It’s seems that they never seem to bit in the same thing. But on that day it was silver and gold spinners ran along some rocks. If I remember right we caught 10/15 in about 20min. It was a blast.
You'll never forget that! Congrats on the beauty.

A few from years past.

Some "other" trout from the Gulf last Summer, including a 6-pounder, my personal best. Most caught on topwater; super spook Jr's. Hope i can get back there in June. View attachment 137065View attachment 137066
Those look good tasting!

I was in the mangroves with topwaters for snook and reds. My additional line was a bobber and a shrimp! That is what they preferred. Live bait beats my skill again!

Nice work all! I got out last weekend for the first time in a while up on the Eagle River near Wolcott, CO. Managed a few nice rainbows and browns. April is probably my favorite month to fish but I've been pretty busy so I haven't gotten out much. I think I'll start measuring my fish in beer cans from now on...

Me no listen to them fly fisherman LOL. I do the lazy way with spinners or powerbait. I can't wait myself. My hunting buddy and I are going to Lake Hatte soon and that should be good if we get there before tourist season and when the practically resident types get their RVs parked there.
