Trophy copper Vital shok vs. Meateater

Looking at trying some copper, I see federal premium vital shok with trophy copper bullets as well as federal premium Meateater trophy copper, assuming they are the same just branded with Meateater now? Or is there a difference between the two? Thanks

If i remember right the vital shok was the way it was branded a few years ago so (bright orange box) then they transitioned into a more grey box then meat eater. I think if you look at the ballistic/drop numbers they're all same same, so unless they do something different in manufacturing (tighter tolerances, better brass etc) there should be no difference.

That makes sense, I couldn’t get it to shoot for s*** in my 270!

I probably just got a bad box because I know they sell a ton of it. That rifle will cloverleaf with tsx or ttsx but sprayed those trophy copper all over a 10 inch target

Found some tsx as well, keeping my eyes out, a few options around but pretty slim pickens.

I’ve shot the Federal loaded tsx and Barnes, both shot well in mine

Well I ordered the vital shok since I found some at a sort of reasonable price and they sent the meateater version, never could find much info but seems that they are the same. Now need a calm day to give them a go.
