MK, my daughters actually shoot their Mathews Genesis Bows in my basement the same way to practice for the NASP archery program. 15 meters is from my daughter's closet doorway, out her bedroom door, across the family room, thru the door to my shop, across a hall, thru the doorway to my huntn/fishn storage room and into a 3x3 target. They haven't hit one of the door jams yet, but it sure makes them nervous! Its the only place in the house where we could get a full 15 meters in a straight line ( just gotta make sure everyone knows you are shooting! )

That's Awesome! I don't even have enough space in my house to draw a 15M straight line. Sounds like great practice for them.

Like Terelle Owens use to say, "I love me some me". Cam loves him some Cam.

He's inspired plenty of people but he's a different dude. Somewhere in his treasure chest of videos is one of him doing pull ups with a grown man on his back. Awkward!!!!

Best of all, like Dink said 95% of his hunts are on big fat plush private ranches. Bulls are named, located and waiting for him. Even in OR he's hunting private for Rosie's and blacktail.

Why hate on a guy that has ridiculous work ethic and is extremely passionate about bow hunting? I've never seen or read him saying you "have" to do anything he does to be considered a good hunter. Ever. For most people, "good enough" is just fine by them. Others look to challenge themselves constantly and work on weaknesses. This dude clearly has always had a chip on his shoulder and a fire inside him to push himself the way he has for years to constantly better himself. Good for him! So what if he posts videos or things on facebook. Don't watch them. Unlike his page. Believe it or not but he has motivated a lot of people out there. A lot. I for one take working out and preparing for hunts very serious. I work out 6 days a week year round because it's what I enjoy doing. I've been down the road where my physical endurance limited my hunt and I won't let that be an excuse for failure again. There is no reason for that. There is going to come a day when I can't hike a mountain or pull a bow back. It is coming and there is nothing I can do to avoid it. So for as long as I'm healthy enough to push my limits and train hard year round I'm going to. That is just who I am. everyone is different and to each there own. You don't have to be a workout warrior to be a good hunter. I just don't get how people can put down a guy who clearly loves hunting and doing whatever it takes to be the best "he" can be. He is trying to get people to become more active and maybe step out of their comfort zone and work on a weakness whether it's overcoming a fear while hunting or trying a certain workout you have been afraid to do. If you think he is lame or a "stroke", then that is pretty sad.

I think you missed the point, no one is bagging on him for his workout ethic. It's awesome that he has got hunters off their arses and motivated.

We're bagging on him because in his videos it's pretty clear that he is totally self absorbed.

This wasn’t intended as a Cam bashing topic. I think he’s great. Funny - but great. Probably a great guy. “Misery trainging” was my favorite Cam video of 2013, though I did see a hysterical wolf, elk, bowhunter Under Armour commercial this year too. Can anybody find the link?
