MEETING TO DISCUSS ATV USE AT CLEAR CREEK RESERVOIR CAMPGROUND
Should ATV's and motorcycles continued to be allowed at the Clear Creek Reservoir Campground north of Buena Vista? That is the question the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) will be discussing at a public meeting.
The meeting will be held at the Sangre de Christo Electric Association public meeting room in Buena Vista, May 3 at 7 p.m.
"The number of complaints about ATV's and motorcycles has increased over the past several years," said Randy Hancock, the DOW's District Wildlife Manager in Buena Vista.
Clear Creek Reservoir is a State Wildlife Area located on Chaffee County Road 390 approximately 13 miles north of Buena Vista. "Most of the complaints are about noise and dust," said Hancock.
Persons who cannot attend the meeting can send written comments to the DOW office at 7405 Highway 50, Salida, CO 81201.
For more information, contact Randy Hancock at (719) 539-8413.
