Sometimes we all make poor decisions don't beat yourself up about itI shot my bull with a bow this year,
No idea why anyone would take a shot that far. But He apparently spear hunts a lot too. So he ends up within 5-10 yards pretty regularly to throw a spear. I'm guessing that'd he his counter arguement to your statement. What's the purpose of shooting at an elk at 120 yards? Its all about his ego. There is so many variables taking a shot that far. If he really wants to prove how good of a hunter he is he should archery hunt using no calls, stalk in and only take shots under 20 yards. Arguably that would prove he is a better hunter than lobbing arrows at elk over 100 yards away.
When he spears, he sits in a tree over a bait pile.No idea why anyone would take a shot that far. But He apparently spear hunts a lot too. So he ends up within 5-10 yards pretty regularly to throw a spear. I'm guessing that'd he his counter arguement to your statement.

I'm guessing the guides are WHY he's killed 200 elkHere's a question - Why does he hire a guide, if it's his 200th elk?
Ensures himself a tag and the guide gets free publicity.I'm guessing the guides are WHY he's killed 200 elk
His video shows him chucking spears at running bison while on the ground. When he spears, he sits in a tree over a bait pile.
I guess I'm not up to date on all the guy's video, not really a fan of his. The one I saw a few years ago was him in Texas somewhere perched up in a tree over a bait pile. His video shows him chucking spears at running bison while on the ground.
Maybe bison don't hit bait piles.

I’ve been doing this all wrong…….. I’ll be taking corn corn elk hunting with me out west from now on. Hopefully I can bait them right to to road for an easy packout.
That's one heck of an intro. #modestdude
Ya me either, the first I have seen of him was on this thread. See post #42 for the spear toss at bison.I guess I'm not up to date on all the guy's video, not really a fan of his. The one I saw a few years ago was him in Texas somewhere perched up in a tree over a bait pile.
You might have different motivations than a tv personality. For $700 and 1000 miles of driving I don’t care if I’m boiling hooves for jello cups, I’m eating something off that sob.
At 2:00 I wonder what the deal was with punching the dude?
That's an image that will win the non hunters over, now......
