I was reading another board and saw this....

Fugging non residents whiners, if people want to hunt in a state then either pay the non res price or move there and hunt as a res.....

Its one of the benifits of living in a state you get the luxury of reduced rates. kinda like a college you get charged more if you dont live in that state(sometimes city).

If you work for a place and get a reduced rate for working thier shouldnt every buddy be getting the same rate?

I personally would love to see non res be a mandatory guide only hunt for all big game on top of the 10% rule.... This would give me more chance of getting an elk tag or deer tag instead of waiting 21 years for a elk tag I will only have to wait 18 and instead of 9 years for a deer tag I only have to wait 7.

AM I selffish and dont care about non-res fug ya. I work here I bleed here I raised my kids here, I deal with stupid people here, I deal with tax's here... 70% (the other 30% goto fed taxs)of my money is spent here until a non res can say the same quite your fugging whining like a little sissy and live with it. Only a pussy would hire a lawyer and cry cause he cant have a way to make millions guiding here in AZ...

For all you non res that have came here and hunted/fished I dont have a problem with that, there are quite a few I even helped out, but dont go and change the system so you can have a better deal at getting drawn..... when it really boils down to you just want more chances at a huge bull or buck, your have better odds playing the lottery..

All they have to do is move to that state and become a resident.

I agree with what you guys have to say about this. If I want to come out there and hunt. I should have to pay a higher non resident tag fee.
We live in a resort area, where everyone suffers. Because of summer people. I think if they are absentee property owners, there property taxes should be higher. They are the ones that come here with boats too big to get in and out of the back bays, and lagoons..then we have to help foot the bill to dredge the creek, cause they want a 40' Oean Yacht at the bulkhead. Locals know they ain gonna run a boat that big up the creeks at low tide, so we don't have them. Those that do, dock at deep water marinas. Summer folks or WEB's (week end bastards) bring all their trash from the city here, and our little boro is expected to get rid of it. I ain talking household garbage. I mean furniture. They sit it at the curb, and wait for bulk pickup. Just my opinion. But I agree with you guys.

Let's go back to why Del is looking at that board that he never goes to? Del, what the hell are you looking for over there?? What are you trying to stir?

I agree that non-res should pay more, but only to a point. Many, including myself are priced out of hunting areas simply because of the tag fees. Non-res's provide more than 75% of the budget for many western states! I feel that residents should start footing more of the bill, that way it won't be overly expensive for all. Just my $0.02

Dan I read about 30 boards...
The non-res things really sucks and I get a little testy about it when I read the shit......
Its all about 2 things money and people from back east that wanna hunt out west and cant handle he fee's and or draw results....
You dont see to many people from the west trying to change the laws in texas, virgina, and the other eastren states... Geeze I wonder why?(with thee exception of people in ca)....

Del- Could it be that many of the eastern states aren't comprised of mostly federally owned public land? UT is close to 80% and ID 70% federally owned land. How many of your tax dollars go for the management of lands in Virginia or other eastern states?

Thats probally it One pointer...
All they have to do is move to a state where they could hunt. why change the system(try to) so they can have it thier way...

I would love to be able to hunt like greeny and elkhunter and oscar, I would move to do it as well. there are only 2 things stopping me and that BASS Fishing year round here in AZ and April ( I am sure in a few years April would be willing to move but the bass fishing is keeping me from doing that right now) I dont mind paying the price and waiting for a tag if I have to but I dont have a right to tell another state that I am being treated unfairly cause I dont live there. (well I do have the right but I think its ballsy and stingy)....

If they wanna come out here and hunt on federal lands, and take animals supported by their federal tax dollars so be it, but only if their limit is say: 1 welfare cow, 2 wild ponies, and a handful of burros. Because all the other game belongs to the state, and if you don't live in the state you pay nonresident fees.

I read the thread Delw. What a friggin joke. This is one of the issue where I'll say fug off! Move out here and take advantage of what is here or shut the fug up!

The way I see it a burro tag should run for about $20.00 a burro, a wild pony tag could go for $40.00 a head, and "welfare beef" tags could go for about $150.00 a piece.

Beeftag fees could be split between the BLM, USFS, and state. While the burro & pony money could go to the BLM for range and habitat improvements.

Finally, Ten comes up with a good idea...just when I'd about given up all hope for him.

Lets not forget the tourist tags. Say for Californians $20, easterners $25, and Japanese $5.

JUST KIDDING, GOSH. Dont take me so seriously.

It's only fair I feel to pay higher prices to hunt nonresident. Nonresidents dont pay taxes to help fund the wild life program in the states that they dont live in.
