The wife and the 25-06 got it done!!

My wife took her first big game animal this weekend. She used my 25-06 that I bought when I was 13 years old. She was shooting a 115gr NP. The first shot was at 100 yards behind the left front shoulder. He went end over end to the bottom of the canyon. He tried to get up and she shot him at 300 yards behind the right front shoulder. So at the end of the hunt I learned not to mess with a red head that is shooting a 25-06! We love hunting in NV!

Fantastic! That is a great bull. She obviously did her homework with the rifle. It is amazing how many elk are in open country.
