Is anyone from going to be at the Sheep Show in Reno this weekend? I will be there again with the Kenetrek booth, feel free to stop by and say hi. Booth 513.

Kenetrek will also have a booth at SHOT show in Vegas this weekend.

I am not, but my nephew has a co-worker that shot a sheep somewhere in Mont. that scored over 200. He is supposed to be an honored guest, Matt is his first name. Dont know his last name.

Matt Rippendorp or something like that, he stopped by and showed us that ram on his way home, I think he was from somewhere over by Sioux Falls. Huge ram, super nice guy.

Fun show this year. Got to visit with CabinFever, NVLongbow and elk_hunter. We had excellent sales at our booth, and the CO statewide sheep tag sold for a new state record: $130,000.

Matt Rippentrop is from Lennox. Agreed, good guy and very humble.

Matt is a good guy. Stopped by and visited, and was embarrassed to say how many points he had when he drew.

Sounds like it was a good time. Bummed I could not make it hope to he there next year.

He certainly put in the time and did his homework. Very deserving. I might have to invite him back up when I draw my permit this year.:D

Matt's story is probably the best one I heard the whole weekend. He has probably had to tell it 500 times already and still grins when he tells it, I don’t blame him.

Cabin:

Thanks for great service on boots today.

When should I expect to see em?

It was a good show for us, sales were a little down, but I've never seen so many people walking around already wearing our boots and stopping by just to say how much they loved them. Great to meet Oak and see NVLongbow again. Disappointed I was eluded by Colorado Buck, though I saw that golden, flowing mane pass by several times...

I have a photo of Dinkshooter getting his autograph, but not sure I should post it.

I got to stand by him in the security line at the Las Vegas airport after the shot show a few years ago. I should of asked for an autograph as well. That would make a sweet avatar. Post up the picture Oak.

Please don't, I don’t need it used in any future stalking cases.

I don't think anyone would hold stalking this guy against you. After all, he is a legend.

Colorado Buck was born into a renowned hunting and outfitting family. He honed his skills from years of hunting with his uncles C.A. and Teed Goforth as well as other family members. As a young man, he became known as one of the best bear and mountain lion hunters in Colorado. Buck’s other passions include working with hounds to help develop their skills as hunting companions. In 1986, Colorado Buck founded Rocky Top Outfitters and quickly became one of the most sought after big game hunters and mountain guides. He solidified his reputation in the industry by serving as the trusted guide of leading corporate executives, celebrities, heads-of-state and big game hunters from all walks of life. Through Rocky Top Outfitters, Colorado Buck continues to travel the world with clients in search of the most revered trophies.

In 2003, Colorado Buck added the television show “The Outfitter” to his résumé, allowing viewers to follow him on elite hunts across the globe. Over 30 million viewers strong, “The Outfitter” can be seen on the Sportsman Channel where the show has received the prestigious “Viewer’s Favorite Hunting Show” award and is the only program selected by viewers three years running as a top favorite show. "The Outfitter" can also be seen on the Pursuit Channel. In 2004, Colorado Buck expanded his reach by adding the television show “Across America’s The Outfitter,” which aired on the Men’s Outdoor Recreation Network. You can hear Colorado Buck as a regular guest on Jim Fergusons radio show, “Great American Outdoor Trails Radio Magazine,” carried on more than 60 radio stations throughout Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas. This radio program also is a Podcast on several IPTV networks.

In 2006, Colorado Buck was voted “Viewer’s Favorite Hunting Personality” by the Sportsman Channel. Colorado Buck now has a new, self-developed television show, “Where in the World is Colorado Buck?” which can be seen on Wild TV and Pursuit Channel, which has more than 6.5 million viewers. Colorado films his elite hunts around the world for syndication. He opens these hunts to a few skilled hunters willing to pay for the privilege of such an international sport. This is Colorado Buck. The Legend.

I'd like to see him get into a "hair whipping" scrap with Clay Matthews of the Packers. I wonder how many hair burns they would have?
