Who said this: "This is the new chapter in the Mother of all Battles" "If the enemy continues its military aggression, or even if it stops, it is the final and decisive chapter which will be the end of all chapters." "THE MOTHER OF ALL BATTLES IS NOT THE PAST."

p.49 of The Connection, by SF Hayes.

Even Clinton bombed Saddam's terrorist intelligence headquarters in Iraq when it was clear Iraqi intelligence was capable of plotting and trying to kill the president of the USA.

Bush did a great thing, ending the war for Saddam, Saddam never did quit fighting all that he could.

I'm reading that new book, The Connection by SF Hayes. Its about the connection of Saddam and terrorists and all the activities Iraqi intelligence was involved in.

Its pretty clear, it seems, we need a beefed up CIA, etc. to fight the terrorists. Since the cold war ended, terrorists have come to the front. I've noticed that being said in the news too, this book has lots of real examples that show why. Terrorists are meeting all over the world, planning stuff. At one point, Saddam issued a bunch of sequential passport id numbers for pairs of team members of the Arab Liberation Front and his intelligence to attach US places throughout the world, diplomat homes, museums, embassies, etc. Al Gore even said in 1992, that the first Bush had "a blatant disregard for brutal terrorism", "a dangerous blindness to the murderous ambitions of a despot". He cited a RAND Corp. report where "an estimated 1,400 terrorists were operating openly out of Iraq."

Saddam was very good to get rid of, he never quit fighting us.

The society to prevent chem. weapons has pictures there of Iranians still suffering and dying from chem. weapons Saddam used on them in the '80s. (search on Iraq) Saddam wiped out villages of thousands of Iraqi citizens in Iraq with chemical weapons. Clinton also bombed a chemical weapons plant he was supporting in Suddan that worked with the al Queda also. They had physical evidence of chemicals in the dirt sampled from the place to support the chemical weapons activities there.

Saddam will go on trial for things like this soon, maybe. In his own country of Iraq, tried by his own people, I hope.

Now wouldn't that make good media fun...Of course they like the guy, he is a hero in their books and this country is the villan, we may not get to see much except for a passing quote as it goes with every thing else they don't seem to want us to see...
