The Freezer has been Refilled

It’s been a great year in my first season living out west. I went 5 for 5 on filing tags even though I only have four animals to show for it since I had my bull elk stole. So no one has to ask I shot a 6x6 back about 6-8”, watched him bed in them bottom and lay there until dark, came back to nothing the next morning, looked for two days with nothing to show, talked to the two guys that watched me shoot him and they said two guys came in that night and loaded him in the back of a sidexside. They thought it was me. I’m still a little sick over that one.

Even with all of that happening it was a great year. Freezer was empty from leaving all my wild game with my family in MS. Now it is filled again.

You and @Duck-Slayer were definitely a big help this year. Hunting three new states for a few days at a time over 1.5 months was hard enough but you guys definitely helped.

Congrats! Sorry about the theft. That's crazy to think about. I like to think that anyone taking an elk like that was either in serious need of meat or thought it was going to go to waste. However, I realize that I'm being to optimistic.
