Headed to Dallas/Ft. Worth with my wife for the final George Strait concert in a couple weeks. Looking for some interesting things to fill in a couple days. Is this worth the time?

Dallas is not a very touristy type place but yes....the Schoolbook tour is very interesting.

Other things to do.
Trip to the top of Reunion Tower. It spins so you can see the entire Dallas Skyline. There used to be a Bar up there but it closed.

Southfork Ranch....If you were a "Dallas" fan in the 80s. Its a fair distance North of Dallas though.

Ft Worth is actually better IMO. The Stock Yards have some good restaurants, Billy Bob's and the Cattle drive every day.

Last summer the Wife and I took our teenage daughters to Dallas to attend a concert. While the Kids were at Fair park she and I spent the morning at the Arboretum and then we spent the afternoon at BassPro. Win-Win everyone's happy.
A few years back we all went down for an extended weekend and saw the King Tut exhibit, I don't remember the Museum but It was pretty cool.

Thanks to everyone for sharing ideas. Should be able to fill our down time with something entertaining!

I dont know about Dallas but I can tell you that the concert is one hell of a show. I took my wife about a month ago to Des moines to see George. Had a great time.
