Sorry, short notice. Cortez, August 13.
DURANGO, Colo. – Hunters and anglers are invited to a Sportsmen's Roundtable meeting to discuss issues and concerns with Colorado Parks and Wildlife staff, 6-8 p.m., Aug. 13 at the Holiday Inn in Cortez.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife formed the Sportsmen's Roundtable in 2012 in a continuing effort to provide hunters and anglers with opportunities to submit input about wildlife management.
At the meeting will be Southwest Region Colorado Parks and Wildlife staff and southwest representatives of the Sportsmen's Roundtable. They will provide updates on CPW's strategic planning process, the financial issues facing CPW, the West Slope Mule Deer Strategy, and southwest Colorado fisheries. The public is also invited to ask questions and share concerns.
CPW is also looking for volunteers to serve on the southwest roundtable group. Anyone who has an interest should attend the meeting.
The Holiday Inn conference center is located 2121 East Main Street.
