Just got back in cell service, seen a herd of 20 plus elk , got some of them , they were a good 1,000 yds out, I think there’s 9 Rosies in this one

Then driving down a logging road bumped into this bunch , Mom just didn’t wanna leave the road so I decided to park and the post a picture or two since I was in cell service and let them get some distance

Freezer cleaning out and inventory. This time really going to keep up with the inventory list. Forgive me for the pieces of green in the photo. Ashley insists that freezer aren’t for just meat.


Going to need a few in me before I thaw this out and cook it.


While we were inside the pups were outside sleeping against the door. I stepped out on the porch and saw the yard full of squirrels. Put the dogs inside, told Ashley to get her .22, and we have fresh meat that won’t be needed to add to the freezer inventory.

The sad irony of killing a squirrel because my squirrel dog was asleep on the porch....
