This thread got me thinking so I went back and looked at some videos and finally realized that this is the same buck with a year gap in between. Tried killing him but had no lucky hat.

He get smoked? Now a days the big ones almost always get talked about or posted to social. If I don’t hear about them dead then I go hunt them. Very surprisingly most of the time they have been still alive.

You’re right about that. Don’t believe he was shot and seems like I have a pretty good understanding of who’s in the area. Nearly 3 miles between those pictures and they’re tough to see it’s the same deer in those pictures but the videos I have show it better.
