Hi all!

The kiddos had a wonderful day with the park service at a free fishing day and of course they wanted to keep their fish for supper. But the pond being recently stocked with hatchery fish, I'm guessing that they are not going to be the highest quality meat. Our experience with stocked fish has been pretty...smushy...in the past.
Does anyone have any really great recipes to make these fish taste great?
Thanks!!

I’ve found that warmer water temps can lead to the mush. Id suggest seasoning it up and maybe even stuff it like you might do on a grill, then shallow fry em in a pan til they’re crispy on the outside and cooked inside. Hope that helps

That sounds good! We were getting them on ice pretty quick, if that made a difference.
