Yep I am not on the unemployment lines(as of yet)

There was no paycut for the new place. New pay structure though. Pay is every 2 weeks and OT is accrued and paid at the end of the month. Nothing bout vacation time(lost 3 weeks)and other holidays.

Health insurance is in limbo right now. Hope to find out about it soon.

Still looking to move to right area with a job that will allow us to live.

Looks like our team is going to have meetings at the soup kitchen. I just gave my 2 week notice at work today. I had a holiday planned for Aug,13-23, My brother is coming out from Toronto and we're heading into the high country with a good friend for a 5 day horse back camping
trip. We lost a guy at work that transpher out and another on sick leave. Imagine they told me to cancel my plans. 1 call to the competition thats been trying to steal me and I start there on the 24th. My new boss and I have hunted and fished together for several years and he does taxidermy on the side. Nut it's gonna happen for the better. I'm pullin for ya.

Oh did I mention that I get to set up a small bow range in the parking lot at the new place?

I fried a machine first thing in the morning. Seems they had it at 480 when it should have been 240(?).

So I will be at another shop in the morning again giving my expertise so they can run the job I was supposed to.


Still dont know when the first paycheck will be?????????

Good luck Nut, What in the hell is happening in Ohio? I have relatives in Canton, and the last time i visited half of the town was shut down, Ford shut down, Republic steel was bare bones, Timpkin roller bearing was about the only [manufacturing] around. I hope things go well for you.

Even Timken is going to shut down here in Ohio.

But just think on how many jobs overseas are being created in manufacturing.
