Any opinions on which is better and why. How tough is cerakote? There are a whole lot of coated guns avail.

If I had to choose between the two I'd go with stainless. I'm more worried about the inside of the barrel than other parts.

Ceracote for aesthetics, stainless for practicality but nuthin's purtier than blue & walnut.

Stainless and cerakote. If cerakote is done properly it wont wear off. Mine hasn't with years of mountain use. If it does its stainless under it.

Stainless but if you like a black rifle cerakote it. To me thats the way to go if you have the cash or dont mind spending a bit more. I think much depends on the conditions your planning to hunt in.

I like the bead blasted stainless, holds up and not shiny no need for cerakote imo.
