7 hours down and lots more to row, but I have my ride or die with me and about a pound of Scotty's in me belly so far, come daylight I'll be ready for hostess and new found energy.

Twenty-seven hours driving back from Montana this year. Had to stop for a short snooze at a truck stop in Williston. Lock your car doors in that town!

Morning stop stood up to the test. Guy in the stall next to me I'm not so sure.

Well somehow I slept for 6 hours in the back seat of my truck and apparently I never moved once all night because I feel like I need a hip replacement. Told the dog to wake me up at 5am she dropped the ball there.
Snorted some hostess works faster that way and got my trusty Eagles CD for the no service areas and the show goes on.

Making a similar trip in a couple days. Can’t wait although I do wish the forecast was about 10 degrees warmer

Not a single day even in the 50’s where I’m heading and one day with possible snow. I’m used to getting a suntan on this trip, not happening this year

Hahaha...that gave me a good laugh! Long story about that desperado CD. It became a hunt tradition on accident and it just wouldn't be right if it wasn't in the CD player.

First morning. 9 coues so far 8 doe and 1 seven point who is currently bedded 303 yards away. Debating a stalk as I type. Also saw 19 muleys on the way in a place I can't hunt. A decent buck chasing doe all over in that group.
