Shot her at 50yd broadside, but I thought that he missed. She ran like she was scared, not like she was hit. I also saw the bullet hit the ground and make a frost cloud low and to the right behind her, so I thought that he had yanked his shot. Didn’t realize it was just because of the pass through.

The Howa mini Grendel with 100gr NPTs at 2770fps did great, blood trail was easy to follow, blowing 6ft wide in some places. And, yes, it is that thick where she ran into

Deer activity was insane before 9am here. He shot that doe at first light, but we saw deer, including a big buck, almost constantly until 9
