Didn't want to load the other thread with too many pics.

OK, it cleared up today by late afternoon and I got some direct, albeit low, sun to illuminate todays pics, so they're not too blue.

The bigger bulls are mostly back in bachelor groups and the 3 big bulls I saw by the airport access road yesterday were 200 yards behind the terminal. The blurry blue bull from yesterday turned out to be the best in the bunch. The other bull was higher and wider but with no tops, just some bumps where tines should be. He was probably B&C in his prime. Did I get a pic? Ahem....sorta. As the weather cleared the wind picked up and when I rolled down the window to snap the perfectly skylined bulls, a gust of wind filled the lens and the collar of my jacket with spindrift. Somebody please drive up here and shoot one of these pigs!!

Saw some wolves, like a whole pack. Seven to be exact looked like the Alpha pair plus two adults and 3 big pups. Pics of the pups below.

Great pictures. What are the temps like? I was up there last August and it was hot. We each got out bou, but it was challenging to keep the meat cool. Always thought about skiing in, or hunting the late season after all the hoodlems have left.

Excellent pictures. -5 is a bit nippy for spike camping. Maybe if a large wall tent with stove and lots of fuel was involved.....

Is the Haul Road kept open year round?
