Looks like fun. I've lost track of how many river miles I've walked and how many hours I've sat, and I can count all the birds I've shot this year on one hand.

They pay you guys a bounty for each orange leg? You guys shoot 'em like your mad at 'em. Congrats.

Nice work on the fowl.

Shooting those ducks in the corn looks like a lot of fun, no waders required.

I don't mind dealing with the birds. My smoker runs almost none stop this time of year and my beer fridge turns into my brining fridge with a couple of buckets always going. I rarely pluck birds any more, filet the breast and pop the legs and thighs out and you are done. Don't have to save the wings to the first joint so that makes it easy.

If everybody pitches in and cleans birds then it doesn't take very long.

We had three young men with us on this hunt and all them got a chance to get their hands bloody.

These three never complain about being up early, setting decoys, blinds, running down birds, picking up and cleaning birds. They are becoming pretty efficient goose hunters as well.

If it gets to the point where dealing with birds diminishes the hunt I would stop hunting them. I can't stand to see wild game go to waste.

Super! I've done very little waterfowling, but a couple days like that I think I'd turn into a full flown junkie! Looks like a blast!
