I'm looking for a heavy shirt that I can wear under the vest when it starts getting colder during the later archery season. I mainly sit in stand and don't like being cold. I have an awesome top (GWW) for when it gets really cold, but contemplating those raw days in the 40s (maybe even upper 30s in AM) where I don't necessarily want the bulk with which to contend for that bowstring.
Can anyone comment on the thickness of the Sitka Heavyweight Core Zip vs. something like the First Lite 330 EXP?
I'm familiar with the adv/dis of synthetic vs merino. Been switching over to merino over the last few years, but thinking that I may go synthetic for a pseudo outer layer for the arms.
Can anyone comment on the comparable thickness between the garments? Which may take the cake for this intended usage?
Thanks!
