just purchased several boxes of 117 Grn Sierra game King 25 caliber bullets plan on using them in my 25-06. Bought them at a garage sale. Will be working up a load for these bullets. should be a good deer and Antelope bullet.

I shoot 130 in my 270. They are perfect for whitetail and antelope. Of course I have only taken one mule deer but in my opinion it wasn't heavy enough. Then again it onky went 25 yds, but I like exit holes. They should be perfect for long range shots in the 25-06. Keep us posted with the results.

I'm gonna be trying the 165 game kings in the 30-06 next week. Next I'm gonna try the 63 grain Sierra, ive read it will be stable in my 1 in 14 twist 22-250. My son will be using it for antelope this fall if we draw tags. Let us know how they work for you at the range.

The one and only time I used handloads in my 7mm mag we used 150 grain Sierra Game King Boattails. They were extremely accurate and flat shooting. The several muledeer I shot with them went NOWHERE. I was never able to recover any bullets because all were complete pass throughs.
I think you will have good results with them.

As said above I have used them for the last few years in both 6.5 and 30 cal. Very accurate and predictable expansion with no blow ups on impact. Have worked well on all of our UK deer including big red stags so see no reason why they should not work on bigger game.

I loaded some 165 gr HP Gamekings in a .30-06 a few years ago and they were phenomenally accurate. All loads were over a relatively mild dose of Benchmark. This was shot with a Winchester M70 Mannlicher and Weaver 1-3x scope at 100 yards. It was literally the first group I shot with those. 412920_10100666656302392_1794752216_o.jpg

Rem 700, 30-06 165 grain hpbt game kings.
First time reloading so I had a buddy school me.
We tried 11 different combinations.
Best two groups..

I've shot several deer with 150 gr Gamekings out of my 30-06 and had good luck with them. Deer were shot at ranges from 50 yards out to about 320 yards.

Ive used 6mm Game Kings in my .243 AI Very accurate. 3 deer and 2 Antelope have fallen with my hand loads. Longest shot was 404 yards closest was 30 yards. All died with one shot. I cant complain about the results. Though I would like better bullet performance. They are too explosive in my opinion. I have since switched to Berger VLD hunting in 87 gr. So far Ive been happy with those.

I've had issues with them fragmenting using a .243 as well. Too bad, I can put 3 in the same hole at 100 yards with the HSM loads.

The VLD's claim to fame is being "explosive". Penetrate and come apart. Killed some stuff with the 95 in a .243. That's what they do. mtmuley

I'm sitting at my reloading bench, looking at the target I have stapled up of my 7mm-08AI using 160gr. HPBT Gamekings. 6 of the 10 shots are touching, from a distance of 169yds.
What's still head shaking about it is I was doing a ladder test. Each progressing shot is .3gr more powder than the last.
