Shelter-in Places

Yesterday morning my Dad brother and I went to river. Caught a few cats. Two litttle ones went into a pond for stock and 3 whole fries will meet some grease later.
Spent the rest of the day running the saw and hauling limbs cleaning up around the place.
This morning I had the pleasure of enjoying what may be one of the last dry cool mornings of the year following Sweetie through the woods. She made two trees. One on the neighbor’s place where he feeds squirrels where she learned there is better hunting than in the woods. She has had an excellent handle on her lately coming when called. Other was a big white oak with a hole at the base of the trunk. If she had her way she would’ve been in that hole and up the tree. Had to grab her by the back leg and drag her out before she went too far.
I got a bunch of other things I need to do around the house today, but it’s hard to get up when she’s curled up in my lap passed out.

The neighbors.
So had my Birthday Sunday...With my Girlfriend and her daughter. GF bought me a dozen arrows and her daughter hid them around the house. Got serenaded from afar and over the speaker phone by friends and family 4 times.
Still heading to work during the week, but i've got 80 acres to pursue a long beard that has been strutting through my yard...

@JEL I think Helenans are pretty lucky to have the trail system we do, on top of all of that public land around us. We hit a spot this morning & did 2.5 miles. Ran in to one runner was all. Fantastic morning in the hills. Be well!

Although Montana epicenter - Bozo - is no Fort Peck, those of us that live in places like MT, are pretty damned fortunate.

Got a kid living in Bozeman and he is going to class on line and apparently consuming massive quantities of alcohol on his down time. So kind of like regular school.

Well its blowing like a mother right now in Three Forks and apparantly for the next few days. Might be headed your way.
We have a pretty great trail system just blocks from our house. It’s not out of this world mountain biking, but the convenience value is off the charts.
Finally got a break from storms, cold and wind. Our youngest daughter has been staying here for the hunker down period because she was kind of in the wind after a relationship meltdown. I said it's time to chill out and lit up some firewood. All is well at our place for the time being.
