This poll is about as close as an election with Hugo Chavez in it.

Too funny.

Hughes,

SFW is an organization that started in Utah. At the beginning, they were doing good things for wildlife and for hunters. Over time, they morphed into a fast-food franchise type of operation that focuses on big bonuses for those on top of the pyramid and droppings for those on the bottom.

They managed to steal a ton of LE tags in Utah for auction & Raffle during their big fundraiser, the Hunt Expo.Starting around 2000-2002, they began spreading out to Wyoming & Idaho. In Wyoming, they cratered any chance of getting access through the Wyoming Wildlife Trust fund, attempted to get set-aside licenses, increased their consumption of Governor's tags (They receive 30% of the Governor's BIson tag price instead of the 10% every other tag gets).

In Alaska, their hand picked director of AGF was convicted on hunting and ethical violations.

In Montana, they supported test and slaughter of the Northern Yellowstone Elk Herd

In Wyoming, they have cratered access funding for the Game & Fish.

Nationally, they tried to kill the SImpson-Tester delisting rider for wolves because it wasn't their idea. They claimed that S-T would forestall any other delisting of wolves. As of now, the only population that would remain on the ESA would be the Southwest Desert population because it has not met delisting criteria.

Their leader, Don Peay, has declared the North American Model as socialism, he cratered stream access in Utah and called anglers "snobs" for wanting to access their public property (streams, fish).

Their surrogate is Big Game Forever. BGF has the same spotty track record, but you have to add on $800,000 in taxpayer dollars that the state of Utah gave them to "fight the feds" on wolves. They provided no accountability on how that money was spent, and the audit of the groups showed that most of the money went into the pockets of the principals: Don Peay & Ryan Benson. Then Peay & benson took credit for work that they did not do (wolf delisting).

They are snake oil salesmen. They charlatans and they are thieves. Their vision of wildlife in North America is very similar to what Germany has: all game is private and only the wealthy or lucky get to hunt.

They are a pox on wildlife and on those who hunt & fish.

What he said.

Sounds like SFW is a surrogate of the Colorado Parks & Wildlife. Taking tags out of the draw so they could be bought, hmmmmm.....

Looks like SFW has marshalled out every Kool Aid drinker they could muster and had a few vote with different logins and IP addresses. A whopping 5% yay.

Is it better to have no access than give a landowner an incentive to allow limited access?

From the two leading questions you've now asked on this thread relating to SFW, it sounds like you may be one of the 10 Yea voters!

FWP spends about $5 million a year on access to private land through block managment, purchasing property, access easements, tax credits & conservation easements.

Federally, we have the Open Fields program, LWCF, and a host of other programs designed to increase access to public lands or consolidate fragmented public lands.

SFW has never stepped up help any of these programs.

Why?

Their plants always say the same rhetoric anyway. "They have done some good and some bad. But what other group would be there to save UTDOW if they weren't?" Blah blah blah.

***That about says it all Zim! I'd bet that Birdman registered over here just to put up a yea!

So lets say some low life thief broke in to your home and stole your five favorite guns. Then he sells one of them and donates the money to a great cause like the RMEF.
He’s still a low life thief who deserves to go to jail, right ?
That’s SFW, low life thieves, they steal opportunity from all of us. They sell that opportunity, do a little good and keep the rest of the money for them selves.

It's even worse than that. They don't have to steal, they just talk a few gullible saps into giving them those ''Guns''. Then the real kicker is they give back a few pennies on the dollar, and the dummies just give them more. It's amazing to me the amount of abuse that Humans will endure to feel like they are a part of something.
