Senate: Critical Sportsmen's Package

I agree 100%. I for one am glad they didn't waste any more time on the Sportsmans Bill and instead used that time and energy addressing those ''More important issues''.;)

...Yeah - more important issues like changing the Redskins name to something more PC like the Washington Wizards. Or they are busy trying to figure out which of our towns get to receive our new "citizens" to support from Central America.

It would extremely foolish to believe that this bill was cratered because of one party. The liberals hated the lead ammo provision and the conservatives wanted to force the sale of public land. Together, they were able to kill this.

Celebrate your extremism if you want. But you also miss the point if you think this bill was just about hunting and fishing. 6.1 million jobs in America rely on outdoor recreation. The total impact to the economy is staggering, rivaling so many other major industries (http://outdoorindustry.org/research/economicimpact.php?action=detail&research_id=167) . Reid wanted amendments germaine to the bill. He didn't get much help from either side and now our economy (a recession proof one at that) is going to take it in the shorts.

So, clap hands and celebrate that Democrats or Republicans didn't get a victory if you must. The rest of us will be working to make these extremists powerless.

Ted Cruz & Diane Feinstien just gave all of us a prison hello.
