I did have a tripod. That's what happens when the camera is at over 200X equivalent and it's why the video is so blurry - heat distortion big time at that distance.
It's funny how some of these biggest bucks ever always seem to have the "sasquatch" footage feel to them.
That buck didn't get taken until many years later in 1998. His prongs regressed substantially by then, but the rest of his horns held up pretty well though a little smaller on all the mass measurements most likely. The bucks score in 1998 was just over 91 B&C.
