Perfect opening day. My bro has shot a ruger #1 25-06 for over three decades. He has lots of pics like yours of deer, antelope and elk. Mostly one shot kills. Great gun.

Have to agree, the ole .257 is hard to beat. I have a Remington Classic that I have shot since I started hunting. Love it.
