Looks like the SD auction tag went for $319,000. Anyone here the lucky bidder?

Correct on the 2020 season.Unless I am wrong, the hunt is for 2020? A little bit of risk there. Better luck to the SD resident that drew this year and next year. Fish in a barrel.
I am not aware of a disease issue. My point is if I showed this picture to someone with a pile of cash and he bid, say $312K last week for a crack at this ram in 2020 if it crossed an imaginary line and didn't get too close to some campers, he might be bummed if it was harvested a month from now. hahahaJust curious because I don’t know. Is there a population or disease issue or what makes 2020 tag a risky move?
I know I would be bummed. That's a darn fine sheep.
Wow! Those are impressive! Nothing but studs.I am not aware of a disease issue. No. But our fine Govenor will have done what she set out to do, pillage our big game for the sake of more pheasants and NR pheasant hunters.I wonder if the Badlands herd will be able to continue to produce rams that big if an auction tag and lottery draw tag are harvested each year.
Nailed it..No. But our fine Govenor will have done what she set out to do, pillage our big game for the sake of more pheasants and NR pheasant hunters.
I feel the same way about exotic species that I do illegal immigrants. Not a dime should go to illegals till all the homeless veterans are off the streets and not a dime should go to preserving exotics until all native species are thriving. We gotta take care of our own. Sorry didn’t mean to derail this thread.I am sure that money will help support a few private landowners and exotic species.
