I have a pair or schnees pac boots that are almost 20 years old, the leather uppers are still in pretty good shape, but the rubber bottom parts are cracking and coming apart. Has anyone sent a pair back for rebuild? How did they turn out? Looks like it costs about 1/2 the price of a whole new pair…
Thanks

And I thought I was frugal….
lol any boots that make it 20 years I wouldn’t hesitate to buy new again….

I've had my Schnee pack boots rebuilt twice. Seems to be about every 10 years when I wear out the soles.

I got mine in 1998 - they are great to work with on these and it's well worth the price.

Good to know, thanks!

I had mine rebuilt after 7-8 years. Was an easy process that I recall & workmanship was great

Many people who own Schnees boots have opted for a rebuild instead of buying a new pair, especially if the leather uppers are still in good shape.
