Savage 111 Build?

1- I went with a bell and Carlson, I need bottom metal to make it work be use I have the dbm that goes in to the molded stock. Savage has the parts but is closed due to NY Government. Anyone know where else I can buy this?

2- I just purchased the basics to get in to hand loading. Once my orders comes in I’ll be giving that a shot as well. Thanks.

Do you have the part numbers for the bottom metal from Savage? I have an older Savage 111 that I am building up and plan to purchase a Savage Sporter style stock from B&C.

Ditto on the part numbers. Pictures would also be nice. I have plastic on the bottom of mine and would like to upgrade to metal. Mine is the DBM bottom bolt release

I have five rifles with Criterion barrels on them. They make them for Savages. They are easy to screw on and all of mine shoot well with virtually any load that I put through them. I will not buy another kind of barrel. I have two, .260s, two, 6.5 Creeds and a 7 mag, all of which will do far better than my eyes allow me to. With the magnum, I would go with 24, or even better, a 26-inch barrel. Utilize all of that power that you can.

Rifle is 9 pounds even with a Vortex Viper 4x16, unloaded.
