Good grief, I think you might've talked me out of one? haha. I've owned a few semi auto clones never a problem with any of them. Wonder if that is a Rock Island problem only?Shoot, feed ok. It's a 1911.
I haven't seen one yet that didn't brake the recoil spring "guide pin".
That of 5 people i know that have them.
3 have just taken them out. The other 2 got new guide pins.
Thank you both.Of the few I've handled, trigger left a lot to be desired, didn't like hollow points, accuracy was fair, slide to frame fit was nice. Front sight dovetail on one was cut oversize. Edges on thumb safeties were sharp.
That’s a good reminder of why I carry Glocks. What a headache. If you have an issue with a particular type of ammo in a 1911, throat the barrel.
My Springfield Armory Champion didn't like LSWC.
Watched a video from Wilson Combat on Youtube on it.
Was easy to do with a Dremel and some different grades of grinding stones.
Thing will feed empty cases, no problem.
Good for clearing practice.
The grip on a Glock just doesn't fit my hand right. That’s a good reminder of why I carry Glocks. What a headache.
I’ve shot plenty of single actions, to each their own.The grip on a Glock just doesn't fit my hand right.
That & after having a single action trigger, you'll learn to hate the Glock trigger.
Took me 15 minutes, and $5 to throat my barrel.
