Wish I was going, going to be at the farmers market here in Helena on Saturday morning. My better half is selling baby and toddler clothes, I'm earning points for bow season.
 
Just got back from helping set up the ball room. Good stuff being given away for a great cause. Hope to see some of you guys there.

Was fun finally meeting some people. Got too meet Brandon and he even wore his decoy hat. I put some tickets into his raffles for the decoys but no luck for me. I did win some metal art and a shirt and a gun sling.
Randy was kind enough to be my date at a table. I think I must of looked lost like Newt on Lonesome Dove when he walks into the house of ill repute. He came and sat by me and made me feel all comfy:D.
Man is he getting popular. People were stopping him right and left to talk about the show.
 
So, brand new Mystery Ranch Longbow goes up for auction at the event last night. I am telling everyone that this is best deal on the live auction, the pack with all the other accessories is a $600 minimum.

Auctioneer starts at $250. No one is really even bidding. Auctioneer drops it down to $100. A couple people bid.

Fin is not going to stand for that, so jacks it up a little bit to get people interested. Summary - Fin ends up with a brand new Longbow, and a pack full of other accessories for $300. Are you kidding me?

Glad to have it. Best deal of the night, for sure.

Now I am trying to figure out what to do with this Longbow. Since I already have one Longbow, what's a guy to do with the old one that has less than one season of use? Not even any noticeable wear on it.

And, I have an Optifade Longbow and Crew Cab on its way. Hmmmm. Seems I might have an extra pack or two. Not sure what I am going to do. I guess it is kind of like rifles - one is fine, two is good, and more is better.

I'll give you $325 for the whole set up right now, thats a net profit of $25, wonderful deal for both of us :)
 
I know where the used longbow is headed. Didn't stay long in foster care that's for sure. Stay tuned for a possible crew cab going up for auction. I had my hand all but raised last night on that pack but earlier in the morning I had just purchased a brand new Big Angnes Fly Creek tent. My bride is out of town and bought that plus a couple weeks earlier purchased another Crew Cab. I think somethings going to have to go or I'll be living with Miller out east:eek: BTW Miller I don't snore;):D
