I’m sure her positions are controversial on this forum, so this is not intended to start a political debate. She lived an honorable life and served her country. She should be remembered for that. Her best friend was Anthony Scalia - her polar opposite on ideology but they had a mutual respect and admiration for each other despite that. We could all learn something from that.

Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died from complications from cancer. Her death will set in motion what promises to be a tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her.

It’s only 100% political if you make it so. At the end of the day, we are all people. We are all Americans (at least most of us on this forum). A person is not and should not be 100% defined by their politics. Please start another thread if you want to go there.

Didn't agree with her politically but you have to appreciate/respect her position in our country. 5 different bouts of cancer made her a hell of a fighter. Rest in peace.

She was totally political, to her last breath.
