Rifle length of pull

I suspect this might be true. But truth be known I have never measured my LOP on myself or my rifles. Unless it's way out I'm not so sure it really matter's. Seem's I simply adjust to the rifle. Ever heard of a soldier getting measured for length of pull on his combat weapon?
Considering that in my experience they don't even bother teaching infantrymen how to fit their packs properly, that's a terrible reason not to bother with it. M4s have an adjustable length of pull btw. It's handy when shooting with or without body armor.

Having a properly set up rifle makes a world of difference when it comes to recoil management.

I have spent so much of my life adjusting to the wrong LOP that I kinda shrug it off. But, as with a new muzzleloader my wife bought me last summer, when I stumble across a rifle that fits it is a wonderful thing. Not a shotgunner, but as I move into that realm I realize it is critical in that world.

My go-to rifle isn't perfect, but I got my eye relief right so all is ok. But when I try and shoot my wife's little rifle, all is pretty much lost when it comes to accuracy, mostly because I am afraid of wearing a scope scar....

I get it as close to my LOP as possible. Most of the time anymore it’s a non-issue since I’ve been doing customs. It’s much easier to shoot when it’s fit to you

I had added shims to my original 06 stock and lucked out on the replacement Hogue. It's perfect.
Added shims on the 870.
Added a Simms pad to the mz that I had tried on my rifle stock. I also use it on my 94 for the range.
I have long arms.

I just add a recoil pad to get to a length I need. Even on a 6mm Rem or .22LR and on my .264 Win Mag I ordered a HS Precision stock with a longer length of pull as they can do this for a little more cost.

My length of pull is alright, I think as I haven't a clue what it is. But the pistol grips are an 1/8 to long. What to do? Imagine if you bought a rifle and everything was perfect. Not close but perfect!
