Considering that in my experience they don't even bother teaching infantrymen how to fit their packs properly, that's a terrible reason not to bother with it. M4s have an adjustable length of pull btw. It's handy when shooting with or without body armor.I suspect this might be true. But truth be known I have never measured my LOP on myself or my rifles. Unless it's way out I'm not so sure it really matter's. Seem's I simply adjust to the rifle. Ever heard of a soldier getting measured for length of pull on his combat weapon?
