What technique did you use to measure yourself?I measured myself when i had ordered my custom nosler. I really didn't think much of it before that, but it fits me just right. I think it did make a difference. I have since then tried to get guns with similar LOP
That's what I am looking at. I am trying to pay more attention to rifle fit. I found some good spacer kits as my rifles are looking to be 1/2 to 3/4 inch short of measured LOP. Gonna quiz my Smith too. Nothing to lose playing with the spacers. mtmuleyWhat technique did you use to measure yourself?
Edit: just checked and found this https://hsprecision.com/how-to-measure-length-of-pull/
Too much time on my hands recovering. If I can improve, that's good. If not, I just keep things the same. mtmuleyAfter all these years, I am surprised you’re getting deep in the weeds. I would say for your skill level if it ain’t broken I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
I too was going to comment on his recent interest in all these little details. Welcome to the rabbit hole @mtmuley !After all these years, I am surprised you’re getting deep in the weeds. I would say for your skill level if it ain’t broken I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
I've been aware. Just never thought about it at length before. Plus, I really don't have any issues shooting the rifles I have. mtmuleyI too was going to comment on his recent interest in all these little details. Welcome to the rabbit hole @mtmuley !
I suspect this might be true. But truth be known I have never measured my LOP on myself or my rifles. Unless it's way out I'm not so sure it really matter's. Seem's I simply adjust to the rifle. Ever heard of a soldier getting measured for length of pull on his combat weapon?Makes a big difference what kind of clothing you are wearing.
During your recovery, have you also been hearing a little voice say, “Wyatt’s cut, Wyatt’s cut,…”?Too much time on my hands recovering. If I can improve, that's good. If not, I just keep things the same. mtmuley
