Caribou Gear Tarp

Republicans form new caucus; Conservation focus.

A large base of disenfranchised voters are waiting to leave the D's high and dry w/o a moment's notice if the R's got their shit together. Abandon the horse pucky platform for PLT and push hard on State Stewardship.

I like it. Graham, Daines, Murkowski... Nice lineup.

Now, wait for the D's to throw their beer drinking in college crap... The threat is a MAJOR threat to those who've edged votes to D side just because of this one area.
Screw this socialistic, free this and that, protect criminal sanctuary cities, etc.
Would love nothing more than to kiss the D's goodbye.

Sytes blows his non-partisan, middle of the road, thinly veiled false cover - exposing his extremist right wing agenda tendencies.
I like truth, no problem with it whatsoever.
A lifetime DIY Public Land advocate/outdoorsman guilty of what I just did - willing to accept the consequences...........................................

@onpoint - Your intentional limited vision only catches the chat that fits your agenda...
Cheers to you for that. I've always held my position.

You have a comment about the topic? 😉

Yes, back on track and a comment. I WILL vote for Steve Daines and support this new GOP Conservation coalition in a heartbeat if he/they supports the THINGS that matter to me and they thus implement(s) policies which I agree with. For Real.
Isn't that what all this political BS is about anyways?
.....Or is it truly just blind idiology like we on both sides accuse each other of.
Yeah I do have an agenda. And I don't hide behind it.

Reminder: Did not vote for Hillary nor Trump. Voted for Racicot (GOP) MT gubernatorial race. I think MSNBC is irritating. But I'm still prolly a left wing extremist, right?.................

Stated because still after all these years, I'm still dumbfounded by a lot of peoples' ideas and cognitive abilities.............................................

You only have to read a few Terry Anderson opinions to realize “free market environmentalism” is just privatization of the resource. (Unless it’s APR).

Having taken a few of Terry's classes I would agree with Rob's post. As I remember there was lot of resources should go to the highest bidder.

Terry is out at PERC. I've not met the new guy, but their direction lately has been much less controversial or polarizing than in the past.

Terry is currently fronting Steve Daine's dark money effort to greenwash his abysmal record on conservation.

“Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”

Switching from a carbon-based economy to a more sustainable isn't something that can be easily done without repercussions. How much is that oil in the ground worth it it won't be burned? Saudi Arabia, Russia, Canada, and Venezuela have about quadrillion dollars of proven fossil fuel reserves that they would like to convert to $$. Coal has already started dying off and everybody seems to be super cool with that. The carbon bubble is a llegitimate thing to be conerned with when addressing climate change.
