Not dead yet, but having a great time here in the Texas hill country. Haven't been around here much lately, been BUSY. My antler art stuff has REALLY taken off lately. Folks from a big store from Ft. Worth came in last and about wiped me out of all the big pieces. That was a really nice " pay day"!! I thought I was ahead for the hunting season before all the hunters start coming in, but NOT now. Bought a place on the river and been trying to catch a big yellow catfish, but all I can get are the 7-8 pounders and a lot of gar. My Neighbor caught a 40 and a 46 pounder last week. Told him it was my time now. Turkeys are " knee deep" on the new place and I can start deep freezing some in about a month. The deer crop looks very good this year. I saw one last night about 100 yards from the house I would bet is in the 160-170 B&C....12 pointer.Vegas coming up end of October. Anniversary time, Connie has put up with me fro 25 years. We have tickets to see Arrowsmith and Kiss, little heavy for me but they're old farts like me. I know this is a little "gabby" ,but I 've been off the air for a while, just playing catch up.
Later friends, Ol Bob

Bob, I'll deer lease your place if you want. Wow! This should be a good year, eh, lots of rain makes for bigger antlers! Good luck fishing for the big one!

Sounds like we all should be as fortunate as you, Bob. You've earned it, pal. Of course, Connie has probably earned it even more...

puttin' up with an irascible ol' cuss like you.

Tom, You're welcome to come first week of bow season and see if you can nail him. He comes and goes from the big ranch next to me [ 30k acres] My little plot he hangs out in sometimes is only 60 acres, but it's undisturbed and that's why he hangs out there sometimes. I don't have asny feeders in there , it's just a good hideout. Nada deniro para amigo mio.
Rick, yep Connies pretty tough!!
Ol Bob

Sounds great down there, Ol' Bob! Someday maybe I can grow up and retire like you did.

Bob, Congratulations to you and Connie on 25 years. That's great. Hope all is well and you've gotten all the way back to your normal "agreeable" self.

Good to see you posting Bob. Tell Connie hello and congrats to both of you. Hope you do well in LV in October. Sounds like you are living the good life down there.

25 years is a great thing, I hope you do it again and make 50! Thank you for the wonderful offer of the archery hunt for the big one there. 12 points is awesome! I'm hunting not far from there, relatively speaking with my brother on the archery opening. Mason has lots of deer, lots of hunters I guess too, eh. More business potential there, eh!
