Are you looking for a career in used car sales? But you do.
Why fight it?
What better back-up gun could you find than the exact same gun?
Nah. For the most part, I don’t like people. Which is why construction is basically my only option at this point. Are you looking for a career in used car sales?

This speaks to me. I have doubles or triples of most everything I rely on, firearm-wise. Good thing I don’t already have a 700 Mountain Rifle so I can skip on past this sweet deal. What better back-up gun could you find than the exact same gun?
Sounds familiar.Nah. For the most part, I don’t like people. Which is why construction is basically my only option at this point.
I don’t have a .280. I don’t have ammo for it. Makes me want one.I love my .280. And I have plenty of ammo for it. Almost makes a guy want to have another one.

Also, I have blown several months of discretionary spending on a sprinkler system for our yard. Then there was an in opportune stop at a local pawn shop where a MR Pintler was hanging on the shelf and she threw herself at me begging for a safe home. Of course I had to rescue her from that bad man behind the counter. I made him take another $50 off her price tag to show some remorse.
My wife and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary in a couple of months with a rare out of state vacation. I wonder how she would feel about cutting back a couple of days to free up some money for a mountain rifle…
Both @brockel and @JLS have terrible timing when they put desirable rifles on the market.
Although, I do have a well used stock 700 with a detachable mag in 30-06 that I would be willing to trade straight across for this…
Can I lead with , “Hon, Brockel said I needed to do this for us…?”All I heard was “my wife would love a 280 remington topped with a Zeiss for our anniversary”
Can I lead with , “Hon, Brockel said I needed to do this for us…?”
My wife says that kind of thing all the time, I think you got the green light go for it.Her offhand comment when I showed her your rifle for sale about “ needing another gun like I need another hole in my head,”…
Do you think that was random or should I be worried? It feels like I might be missing something she’s trying to communicate. Anyone?
Depends on how good your reaction time is, and what she has in her hands at the time. Can I lead with , “Hon, Brockel said I needed to do this for us…?”
The kids clearly need a new rifle, not you. She can’t say no to that. Her offhand comment when I showed her your rifle for sale about “ needing another gun like I need another hole in my head,”…

That was last year… Not going to fly this year…The kids clearly need a new rifle, not you. She can’t say no to that.
