Yup have one just like it. Light and easy to handle. Broke it in on a pronghorn in Wy and a whitetail in Texas last year and it will be going to Colorado on our first elk hunt this fall.

Would this be a good upgrade from a Mossberg ATL 100? It is the rifle I have in 270 currently at 8 3/4 lbs.

I have a 270 and a friend is encouraging me to get a 7mm mag as my next rifle but there is something alluring about the 270. I mainly hunt black tail deer but would like to have the ability to shoot an elk at 300 yards. Think this rifle could fit the bill?
