My fishing season is winding down and we moved off the cows we pasture this week. Yesterday was a good day to take the wife and dad out on the reservoir before the launch ramps are out of the water. The fish are getting into a Fall pattern and fishing was really good. Got into some jumbo bluegills and some good schools of crappie. In the screen shot of the fish finder I'm anchored in 75' of water. That school was so dense the display reads 13' deep. In a half hour there we had all the crappie I wanted to process that afternoon. My wife really wanted a catfish and right before we were going to head in we had a good takedown. After a good battle she brought in an 8lb'er. Heck of a good day and nice to fish without the pressure of having to fill the box.
