I just drove through the night to arrive on a project in Decatur, Ill. I arrived onsite with Idaho plates and the boss-guy asked me if I was a hunter. Then he asked if I'd seen that new show about the guy who hunts public land in Montana...'the old guy' he said.
I asked if he meant Randy Newberg and OYOA?

Yes!! he said, 'the best show on TV!'

Newberg an 'old guy?' I hope not because I think that would put me in that category or beyond, although on my recent WY hunt my brother and I met another hunter who later emailed my brother and said he enjoyed meeting my brother and his 'Dad!' I'm getting long in the tooth, but I didn't think I really looked old enough to be his dad.

Two episodes into the first season my dad called me to tell me that he finally found a decent hunting show. I interupted and said "if your talking about On Your Own Adventures I have seen it and signed up for the Hunt Talk forums today" to which he replied "me too". He has never posted though.
