Radar- Laser Detectors ???

I want to get a laser- radar detector, any suggestion on a decent one ?, at a half way reasonable price ?.
I have seen them from $30.00 to over $500.00.
I have no idea what is a good one or bad one.

I have a Passport 9500i and it has both the radar & laser detector on it and it will also show you MPH while driving and alerts you to red light cameras using gps if they have been plugged into the system.

The radar detection is great, as long as the radar is on, I pick them up from miles away at times. The laser detection really only seems to work if the laser is on you, in which case it is probably to late. The laser seems to be tougher for it to pick up.

I would give a thumbs up for any of the passport/escort models.

Pretty tough to beat instant on now days. Follow a ups driver for a mile is so and you'll know how fast you can go.

Check out Radar Roy. An active laser jammer is yer best bet to beat a laser gun.

Heck I had no idea people still used fuzz busters these days, haven 't seen one in at least a decade. I thought that was over in the 80's and 90's. Seems like there should be an app for your phone to do that.

I have a Belltronics. It has saved me a few times from getting a ticket whan I was not paying attention.
Now when it comes to laser, you know that when your detector goes off all you get is a warning you are getting a ticket.
