Public Land Virginia Buck

I was fortunate enough to take a nice buck for the second year in a row off the George Washington Nation Forest here in Virginia. Killed him at 12:35 on 11/19. Love these old mountain bucks.

That's an awesome buck! I killed my biggest whitetail to date in the GWNF, with a flintlock no less. As much as I like hunting the west, I find myself daydreaming a lot lately about hunting the VA mountains again.
