We have an inititive prop 200 [protect AZ now] that will be on our Nov. ballot This will "deny" State benefits to to illegals, and also make them prove citizenship if they attempt to vote! Ironicaly the liberals are signing up illegals to try to defeat this prop. [200] this has come about because our governor [Napilatano] Vetod legislation that would have done the same. She however cannot stop/veto a vote of the people. They the opposition have already tried to get a Judge to stop this from getting on the ballot[they failed] This will pass and is being watched by other states, the strange thing is that outsiders from California have tried to stop it,Now this will not stop illegals from getting federal benifits [thats another problem] But it is amazing to see the "panic" in some of the groups [la-raza,la-vosta,az republic, phx, chamber of commerce etc.] that are afraid of how much support this inititve has.
