I have a 700, and a handful of Leopold scopes. Just not paired.
You shouldn't have any issues, but if you do, I might suggest fitting some counseling in to your schedule.

Been shooting a Rem 700 for over 20 years. I've failed the gun more times than it has me.

You will be fine. I’ve been there and back many times with a mid 60’s Model 700 wearing the dreaded Leupold.
